The Metrodome is no more.
Project leaders for the new Minnesota Vikings stadium say the demolition of the team's old home has been completed ahead of schedule. About 80 percent of materials from the torn-down stadium will be recycled, including 80,000 tons of concrete. Officials say it took 49,100 truckloads to haul the debris off the site.
The new facility, costing nearly $1 billion, is scheduled to open in 2016.
