The University of North Dakota’s 20 athletics teams combined for a multi-year Academic Progress Rate (APR) score of 980 in 2012-13, exceeding the national average score of 976 according to the National Collegiate Athletic Association.           

 

All 20 of UND’s teams recorded multi-year APR scores of 957 or better in 2012-13, putting each above both the multi-year minimum of 930 and the two-year threshold of 940. In order to be eligible to participate in NCAA championships in 2014-15, teams must earn a 930 four-year average APR or a 940 average over the most recent two years. In 2015-16 and beyond, teams must earn a four-year APR of 930 to compete in championships.
