Kelly Smith
I am the mother of 5 wonderful daughters ranging in age from 17 down to 1 1/2. We stay busy with my side business as Children's Entertainers, face painting and balloon twisting for kids all over the world on cruise ships and also here in the Red River Valley. Most people know me as the lady who paints their kids' faces at UND events and the farmers' market. I am married to a State Tropper (talk about an odd couple... a professional clown and a cop). We moved up to North Dakota 13 years ago from my hometown in southern Minnesota and decided this is where we wanted to call home. You could say I have a wide range of jobs in my life. I dabbled in radio in southern Minnesota but then moved on to working in Security at the Mall of America (I ran all the cameras and dispatch), I was an archery tech for Cabela's, sold guns for a gun shop, wrote scripts for a state political party, managed the Waterpark at the Canad Inns and have run my business as a professional clow and children's entertainer for 8 years now with the help of my daughters.

I can be a food snob at times...
I love nice restaurants... but my favorite meal is a good Indian curry.

How I spend my free time:
I have been bow hunting since I was 12 and love to take tiem still today to sit in my stand. I love to travel and spend a few weeks a year in the Carribean working on the world's largest cruise ships. As a family, we do some extreme sports like urban repelling (jumping off buildings) and dog sledding.
