United airlines will be flying out of the grand forks market in early December. The airline is no long accepting reservations on its online site after the thanksgiving holiday period. United announced twice-daily nonstop service between Denver and grand forks on may 29th (2012). The service began in October of last year. Rumors have persisted for months about united concerns over enplanement numbers. United express carrier sky-west operated the 50 seat regional jets. The move comes as the grand forks airport is setting record boarding numbers again this year.
