The latest round of testing for TB in Grand Forks resulted in two abnormal results. Health officials screened 74 students and staff at Valley Middle School onMonday after a student was found to have Tuberculosis last week. An abnormal test does not mean an active case of TB but the individuals are referred to their healthcare provider for further testing. A staff member at Phoenix Elementary school who had an abnormal reading earlier this month was cleared for teaching after a follow-up exam. Grand Forks has identified 13 active cases of TB since September and 15 since March.
