State of Grand Forks

Grand Forks Mayor Michael Brown says building partnerships will be the key to future success in the city.   Brown used his State of the City address  to urge residents to think outside the box and develop plans that build…invest…and help Grand Forks grow.   In addition to touting past accomplishments the mayor says it’s time to take the downtown to the next level – with emphasis on the arts and events.

During the address the mayor also touched upon the potential new growth at the GFAFB should a tanker mission land in Grand Forks...the on-going study to improve the library….as well as upcoming infrastructure needs designed to move the city forward.
