A COMPLEX WINTER WEATHER EVENT IS EXPECTED TO UNFOLD THROUGH THE
MIDDLE OF THIS WEEK WITH A FEW ROUNDS OF WINTRY PRECIPITATION.
LIGHT SNOW WILL BEGIN TO DEVELOP ACROSS EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA THIS
MORNING AND SPREAD ACROSS NORTHWEST MINNESOTA...INCREASING IN
INTENSITY THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT. SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 2
TO 5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED...LOCALLY UP TO 6 INCHES. ACROSS FAR
SOUTHEASTERN NORTH DAKOTA INTO WEST-CENTRAL MINNESOTA...A MIX OF
SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN IS POSSIBLE THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON.

LOW PRESSURE WILL TRACK FROM THE CENTRAL PLAINS INTO THE UPPER
MIDWEST TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY...BRINGING POTENTIALLY SIGNIFICANT
SNOWFALL IN EXCESS OF 6 INCHES TO THE REGION. SIGNIFICANT
UNCERTAINTY REMAINS REGARDING THE EXACT TRACK AS WELL AS THE
TIMING OF THE SYSTEM...WHICH WILL AFFECT WHERE AND HOW MUCH SNOW
FALLS. IN ADDITION TO THE SNOWFALL...NORTHERLY WINDS WILL
STRENGTHEN ON TUESDAY AS COLD AIR FILTERS INTO THE REGION.
