Red River Rising

Red River Rising

Jun 27, 2013 at 9:38 am

Heavy rains in the southern end of the basin will impact river flows to the north in the coming days.  The national weather service has placed greater grand forks in a flood warning until further notice.   The red river is expected to go reach flood stage this weekend and continue to climb to around 33-point-six feet by the middle of next week.     This week’s storm dumped nine inches of rain in the wolverton area….four-plus for fargo-moorhead….over two in hillsboro…and just three-tenths of an inch at the national weather service office in grand forks.
