New Winter Outlook

A weak El Nino is setting up this Winter season and it could impact our weather in the Red River Valley.  The latest long-range forecast models from NOAA call for below normal temps in January...February...and March.  Temperatures for Grand Forks typically range from around eight degrees in January to 14-plus in February...and 26-27 degrees in March.  The outlook is for equal chances of snow which tends to be around 23-24 inches for the three month span.
