The driver of a school bus suffered minor injuries when he rolled the vehicle south of Churchs Ferry (ND) this morning.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 50-year old Torondo Watson of Winston Salem (NC) was delivering the brand new 2022 model bus to a school in Canada when he ran off Highway 2 around 9:00 a.m.
Authorities say Watson apparently fell asleep while driving. The bus crossed both lanes of traffic…spun 180 degrees…before rolling several times. Watson was transported to a hospital in Devils Lake. There were no other occupants aboard the vehicle.
