a slight dip is being reported in enrollment at north Dakota colleges and universities.   The fall 2013 headcount stands at 48-thousand-15 -- down less than one-half percent from the previous year.  Interim chancellor larry skogen says enrollment numbers are stable.    Skogen says it’s a positive because national enrollment numbers are trending downward as is typical when the economy improves and people go back to work.   A closer look shows 77-percent of students are enrolled in north Dakota universities and 23-percent attend community colleges.   Nearly 52-percent list a north dakota home address while 30-percent comes from neighboring states -- Minnesota…south Dakota…and Montana.    The university of north Dakota has the highest enrollment at 15-thousand-143.
