North dakota’s not seasonally adjusted unemployment rate slipped to one-point-nine percent in October. That compares to an even two-percent in September and two-point-five percent one year ago. Job service north dakota spokesman michael ziesch says while it’s not an all-time monthly low it’s getting close. in 1997 the state recorded an unemployment rate of one-point-seven percent. ziesch says it’s been twelve years sicne the rate has been under two-percent.
the october rate in north dakota tends to be the lowest unemployment rate of the year.
