ND gas prices down…for now

By Doug Barrett Feb 27, 2023 | 7:41 AM

The average price of a gallon of gas dropped 4 cents in North Dakota last week.
The latest Triple-A Fuel Survey puts the going rate at $3.28 a gallon. That’s nine cents lower than one month ago – and 12 cents cheaper than last year.
Minnesota sits at $3.25 a gallon. The national average is $3.36.
According to the Triple-A fluctuating oil prices have contributed to pushing pump prices lower. But if gas demand keeps rising amid tightening domestic stocks, drivers may see an end to future pump price drops. The cost for oil accounts for 55% of what motorists pay at the pump.
