Are you sick and tired of hearing all the talk about this year’s flu season? It continues to hit home hard. Already nearly eleven-hundred cases have been confirmed in North Dakota-- and there’s been one death. In Minnesota four people have died from influenza and 226 were hospitalized during the last week in December. Experts say your best defense is a flu shot although they admit this year’s vaccine is not 100-percent. The under 19 crowd is the sickest group in North Dakota accounting for over half the cases to date.
Health officials have confirmed 40 cases alone in Grand Forks County…77 cases in Cass County….226 in Burleigh County.
