Six months into 2012 and North Dakota's fatality count continues to exceed year ago levels. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 64 people have been killed in crashes around the state. That compares to 43 at this time last year. 2011 turned out to be a modern day high for road deaths with 148. 52-percent of fatals in 2012 have been alcohol related.
