North Dakotans will have additional opportunities to keep track of their favorite bills this legislative session. Legislative Council Director Jim Smith says greater use of technology will update the daily proceedings in Bismarck. Smith says bill tracking allows individuals to keep tabs on the status of any piece of legislation. In addition a video feed of proceedings will be archived – meaning you can go back and watch the debate online at your convenience. Smith says 254 bills have already been pre-filed but the actual number will go up. He says lawmakers have tackled as many as 14-hundred bills in past sessions.
