Hypothermia Death

Hypothermia has claimed the life of a 61-year old Mahnomen (MN) man. the Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office received a call Saturday stating that a male individual was found unconcious in a storage building in the city around ten-45 a-m. Authorities say the victim…Gary Goodwin…was found lying on the ground. Goodwin was transported to the Mahnomen Health Center where he was later pronounced dead. The department says drug use may have played a part in the death and toxicology test results are pending. There were no signs of foul play.
