GFPD Arrest

Authorities made a weekend arrest of a 20-year old Hatton (ND) resident in connection with the assault of a Florida man outside a Grand Forks motel. Police say Tanner Schlaht was apprehended Saturday morning. Schlaht is being charged with two counts of aggravated assault. On Thursday Grand Forks police reported the 32-year old victim suffered injuries from an altercation and then was hit by the suspect car as it left the scene. Police say Anthony Sawyer remains hospitalized as a result of his injuries.
