GFK Scare

September 12, 2012

The Grand Forks Airport has become the second in the state to respond to a bomb threat this week.  The GFK received the bomb scare at the Byron Dorgan Terminal around nine-40 this morning.  The decision to evacuate the building was made to ensure the safety of passengers.  One flight was delayed as a result of the scare.  On Tuesday Fargo Police responded to a bomb threat at the Hector Airport.  Nothing suspicious was found and no arrests were made.  GFK officials say there will be an enhanced security presence throughout the remainder of today.
