The grand forks airport set another record for boardings in june. The eleven-thousand-82 passengers that went through the gates pushed the year-to-date tally to just shy of 75-thousand. That’s up nearly eight-percent over last year’s record high.
North dakota’s eight commercial airports also set an all-time record for traffic last month. The north Dakota aeronautics commission says statewide numbers jumped nine-percent. Aeronautics director larry taborski says parking lots are full and renatal car agencies are busy indicating that passengers are traveling to whatever airport can support their business and vacation plans.
