GFK Boardings

Another monthly boardings record at the Grand Forks Airport in June. The GFK had nine-thousand-536 passengers go through the gates last month. According to the North Dakota Aeronautics Commission that was a one-percent increase over last year – the previous all time high. Statewide boardings increased 15-percent in June. By comprison Bismarck recorded a 31-percent increase in traffic and Fargo nearly six percent. Dickinson…Minot… and Williston continue to sport the highest percentage growth rates. The GFK is also on a pace to set a boardings record for the year. Through the first six months of 2012 a total of 69-thousand-436 passengers have hopped a flight out of Grand Forks – 22-percent above last year’s tally. United will add service between Grand Forks and Denver in October.
