The grand forks school district will survey parents on the grand forks air force based to help determine a name for the “new” consolidated school. Declining enrollment prompted the g-f-a-f-b school board to merge carl ben Eielson into Nathan twining starting in the fall. At a meeting this week board members failed to find consensus on a name for the school. Superintendent larry nybladh says the board directed staff to solicit input from parents and report those findings back to the board at a special meeting on june 23rd. an administrative recommendation to go with Nathan twining elementary and middle school died for a lack of a second.
