Grand Forks health officials say they’re confident they’ve been able to isolate a “cluster” of Tuberculosis cases in the county. The North Dakota Health Department and local health leaders confirm three active cases of tTB. the three cases identified were in men – one in his 20’s and two others in their 40’s. Grand Forks Health Director Don Shields says the cases popped up about a week-and-a-half ago and health officials have already tested 60 to 70 individuals that may have had contact with the trio. Shields says the men did not have permanent residences in Grand Forks. There have been 14 cases documented in North Dakota this year.
