Grand Forks students won't have to make up for lost class time due to storm days in March and April. The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction and Governor Jack Dalrymple have approved a waiver request for K-12 students. Assistant Superintendent Jody Thompson says had the waiver not been granted the district was prepared to lengthen each school day. Thompson says the school system faced some unusual circumstances this year with days lost due to heat...cold...and snow. the last day of school will be May 23rd.
