The Grand Forks Library Board has an itemized list of what it will take to bring the current building up to today’s standards – all they need is 13-point-nine million dollars.  The informational report was presented to members of the city council on monday.   The upgrades include an expanded building and parking…a new roof…windows…HVAC system…fire protection…and other improvements designed to make the building ADA compliant.   Library Director Wendy Wendt says the library board has not made any recommendations and is seeking public input.  The council took no action on the report but hinted that a task force involving all taxing entities could be formed to consider the library needs.
