GF Fire

A fire in Grand Forks Sunday night caused significant damage to a home at 604 North 5th Street.   Fire crews responded to the blaze shortly before eight p-m.   When fire fighters arrived they found smoke coming from a roof vent and flames inside the home.  Battalion Chief Rob Corbett says the fire was quickly brought under control.  The residents inside escaped without injury.  Damage was pegged at around 30-thousand dollars to the structure and contents.  The cause is under investigation.
