e-cigarette sales to minors would be prohibited in grand forks under an ordinance approved by the city council last night. concern over the growing use of e-cigs by those under 18 prompted the city to look at the law. several other cities in the state have passed or are considering similar ordinances. City attorney howard sawnson says state laws ban e-cig use in public places. swanson says the local law treats electronic smokes the same as tobacco products in terms of licensing and sales to minors.
