A one-point-nine million dollar refurbishing of the downtown parking ramp in grand forks is getting closer to completion. Starting this week three of the five levels of the central ramp will reopen. The top two tiers should be good to go by the end of the month. The work addressed 30 years of wear and tear including corrosion and failed expansion joints. In addition to structural repairs the work included enhanced signage…improved traffic flow…and larger parking spaces to accommodate bigger vehicles. The ramp has over 400 spaces.
