Sexual orientation would include actual or perceived homosexuality or bisexuality. Councilman terry bjerke cautioned the council against passing the law saying there could be unforeseen consequences.
Council member bret weber says he was proud of the city’s for taking the position.
In other council notes members approved a request from ground up adventures to locate a rental facility in the greenway for canoes…kayaks… and paddle-boards. The building would be made out of modified shipping containers and could be removed with a forklift in the event of flooding.
