With temps in the 80’s over the weekend the last thing you might be thinking about is flipping on the furnace. North Dakota’s fuel assistance program is gearing up for another cold weather season. Applications are being accepted starting today to help low-income families pay their heating bills. Last year the program assisted just over 13-thousand-700 North Dakota households. To qualify a household can earn up to 60-percent of the state median income. Under the formula a family of three can earn up to 39-thousand-461 dollars per year.
