By Doug Barrett Sep 28, 2022 | 8:41 AM

Patchy frost reported throughout many parts of the region again this morning.

The National Weather Service says the average first frost date at the Grand Forks Airport is September 13th.  The average date for a freeze between 28 and 32 degrees is September 21st.

Both the six to ten and eight to 14 day outlooks from the Climate Prediction Center are calling for above normal temps in the Red River Valley.
