Fewer deer....fewer licenses

north dakota deer hunters will not be able to receive more than one license for the fall deer gun season.  North dakota's game and fish officials have announced that just 65-thousand-300 deer licenses will be available for the 2012 season.  That's down about 40-percent from last year and is the lowest number since 1988.  marty egeland of game and fish says deer numbers are down statewide.   The hunter success rate in 2011 was just 52 percent.  That's the lowest tally on record and below the typical 70 to 75 percent success rate.2A- 400 buck tags down 100, and 200 doe tags which is unchanged

2B-2000 buck tags a decrease of 2100, and 2000 doe tags a decrease of 1500

2C-1500 buck tags a decrease of 1500, and 2000 doe tags, a decrease of 2250 tags

2D-1000 buck tags a decrease of 400, and 1000 doe tags a decrease of 800
