Fatal Crash

The Polk County sheriff’s office has identified the 38-year old East Grand Forks man who died when he crashed his motorcycle Saturday night. Authorities say Daniel Egstad was riding his bike on County Road 22 when he ran off the road and went into the ditch. The crash occurred shortly after seven p-m. Egstad was transported to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks and was pronounced dead. Oslo Fire and Rescue…Alvarado Fire…and the Warren Ambulance all responded to the crash scene. The accident remains under investigation.
