Farm Accident

North Dakota State Senator Joe Miller is listed in satisfactory condition at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks after an accident on a family farm northwest of Fordville on Monday. According to the Walsh County sheriff’s office Miller was moving some equipment around the yard when the loader he was driving started to roll backwards. Authorities say the loader ran over Miller and pinned him between two vehicles causing injuries to his lower body. The accident occurred around ten a-m. He was transported to Altru Hospital by the Park River ambulance. Miller is a Republican representing Senate District 16.
