It’s back to school for many students in Minnesota this week – including East Grand Forks. School Superintendent David Pace says the biggest change this school year will be in the classroom. Pace says in addition to a new k-to-12 reading/ language arts curriculum technology is being beefed up.
As far as enrollment goes Pace expects to see some growth compared to one year ago. How many? Upwards of 35 students.
Around one-thousand-735 students are expected to hit the books in District 595 this school year. The district will also employ 285 full and part-time staff -- including 127 teachers.
