The future of a 510-thousand dollar unpaid loan and the future of the east grand forks e-d-h-a director remain unknown following a pair of meetings on Tuesday. The economic development housing authority board discussed the status of the 1999 loan to boardwalk enterprises. City attorney ron galstad says the two sides have talked and agreed that additional meetings will be necessary.
The board also held a closed door session with the city council to discuss the job performance of e-d-h-a director jim richter who is on paid administrative leave. Officials say they will have more to say about his status at next week’s council meeting.
