The city of east grand forks is inching closer towards naming a new city administrator. Three finalists for the job will tour the city today. candidate interviews are scheduled Thursday with members of the city council. The position has been open since the resignation of scott Huizenga who left to serve as a budget officer in Kansas city. Former alderman and city attorney karl Lindquist has been holding down the post on an interim basis. Around 30 people applied for the position. all three finalists are from the state of minnesota. Officials say they would like to complete the hiring process by early September.
