A tip provided by the u-s border patrol led to the arrest of a 25-year old califonria man on drug related charges. Grand forks police say officers were sent to meet the amtrack train as it arrived at the grand forks depot early this morning (2:30 am). They were looking for a suspect with what was described as a large quantity of marijuana. Officers found an unattended bag on the second level of a train car. Inside they discovered several vacuum sealed bags containing 12-and-a-half pounds of pot. No one claimed ownership and the bag was confiscated. later police found an i-d card in the bag for 25-year old ceasar jay leal-jr. fargo police were notified and leal was arrested when the empire builder pulled into the fargo depot. grand forks police lt-jim remer says the pot had a street value of around 50-thousand dollars.
