Graduating from college will cost students more this year….about a thousand dollars more.   The average North Dakota grad leaves college owing 27-thousand-425 dollars in college loan debt.  In Minnesota the figure is even higher at 29-thousand-793 dollars.   Lauren Asher is president of the institute for college access and success.  Asher says the average debt for all students is 26-thousand-600 dollars.  The report says 83-percent of North Dakota college grads have student loan debt – tops in the nation.  The University of North Dakota made the top twenty list of public colleges with the highest student loan debt.
