Click It or Ticket

Grand Forks Police handed out 377 tickets during the just concluded click-it or ticket campaign.  The two week traffic blitz ran from July 13^th through Saturday the 21^st.   The average driver ticketed for speeding was going 12 miles over the limit.   Fourteen percent of all citations were for non-compliance with seat-belt laws.  That’s down from 19 percent in 2010 and 28-percent during a similar campaign in 2008.
