Grand Forks school officials are keeping an eye on a piece of legislation that could provide an indirect boost for Community High School. Lawmakers have added two-point-seven million dollars to a DPI bill for upgrades at the School for the Blind. The district currently rents space in the west wing of the school for community and the Adult Learning Center. The building dates back to 1956 and Community High has been a tenant since 1994. One of the recommendations out of a recent facilities task force has been to upgrade Community High School. The bill still needs the approval of the full house and senate.
