Arvilla Disturbance

A one vehicle crash early Sunday led to the arrest of a 22-year old Larimore man.  According to the Grand Forks Sheriff’s Department deputies arrived on the scene near Arvilla (ND) only to find the driver was no where to be found.   A short time later the GFSO received a complaint of a disturbance at a residence in Arvilla.  During the course of the investigation it was determined the suspect tried to steal a car…entered several other vehicles…a garage…and took a small amount of money.   The suspect…identified as Nikko Haynes…was arrested after he ran into a fence during a short foot pursuit.   Charges include burglary…unlawful entry…refusing to halt…and outstanding warrants.
