Another day, another robbery..this time in East Grand Forks. EGF police believe the latest armed robbery at Orton's in East Grand Forks follows a similar pattern to 4 recent robberies in Grand Forks. The robbery happened at 1PM on Friday. The suspect displayed his gun and left with an undetermined amount of cash. Police report no injuries.
A police dog was on the scene and followed a trail behind Ortons. It is possible the suspect left the scene in an older white model car with a loud muffler.
The robber was wearing a tan puffy jacket and black pants. Police say it fits the same general description of a suspect about 5-11 to 6ft tall with a slim to medium build.
Authorities in both communities are asking for the public's help in leads. Recently a $1,000 reward was posted for credible info that may lead to the suspect.
