The Alerus Center is gearing up for a crowd of 20-thousand or more for Saturday’s George Strait concert in Grand Forks.  Alerus Operations Manager Jeremy Linstad told members of the Safety-Service Committee this week that with only 35-hundred parking spaces on site they know they won’t be able to accommodate everyone.    Linstad says to help handle the extra traffic signage will be posted along major routes directing motorists to the nearest parking.   lHe says shuttle locations have also been secured at the REA and Altru Health parking lots.

Linstad says they are borrowing twelve buses from the Fargo market to help supplement the demand for shuttle services.

Joining Strait on the “Cowboy Rides Away Tour” is singer Martina McBride.
