A task force charged with addressing problems associated with high-risk alcohol use in grand forks held its first meeting last night (wed). Committee co-chair lori reesor who is u-n-d’s v-p of student affairs says the goal is to promote the responsible use of alcohol. Reesor says it’s a long-term process that may take three to five years to see actual results.
the task force is comprised of representatives from u-n-d…the hospitality industry… substance abuse counselors…human services…public schools… and city leaders.
