More TB cases have been identified in Grand Forks. North Dakota health officials say the three additional cases brings the total number of active cases of Tuberculosis to 13 since September -- 15 since last March. One of the new cases involves a student at Valley Middle School. Last week health officials tested 68 students and staff at Phoenix Elementary after two students tested positive for TB. One staff member came back with an abnormal result and was referred to a health care provider for further testing. Health officials say students and staff at Valley who have had prolonged contact with the sick child will be recommended for testing – but not everyone in the school will be screened.
