Prostitution Sting

Grand Forks Police have arrested four males in connection with a prostitution sting. Authorities say in all four cases the men responded to an ad posted on an internet website. They contacted an undercover detective posing as a prostitute who set up a meeting at a south-end hotel. Police Lt-Jim Remer says the hope to send a message through the sting operation.
The class “B” misdemeanor is punishable by 30 days in jail and or a one-thousand dollar fine.
