Hillsboro Fire

A fire inHillsboro on Sunday destroyed a home and left a family homeless. Authorities say a 9-1-1 call alerted fire crews of the blaze shortly before eleven a-m. The homeowner and her two teenage sons were able to escape without injury. The house and contents were deemed a total loss. The Red Cross is assisting the family and donations are being accepted through the Dakota Heritage Bank in Hillsboro. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
