ACS union rejects contract
in response to the latest vote by American crystal workers to reject the company's contract offer for the third time a-c-s officials say they remain disappointed. In a prepared statement the company says they stand by the final offer and will continue to move forward. The statement says the package offered to the union is similar to what it is offering new employees. It goes on to say that the union leadership appears to have decided that they are not interested in letting the employees return to work. The union announced over the weekend that 63-percent of the voters opted against the contract.
